SLB's AI drilling platform with ADNOC covers 120+ rigs and lets one engineer oversee up to three times as many; no agent controls anything alone at first.

SLB says its AI drilling platform with ADNOC covers more than 120 rigs and lets one engineer oversee up to three times as many rigs, while no agent gets to control anything on its own at first. The earn-autonomy-step-by-step rule is the practical line for operators.

Radiant's Kaleidos is the first microreactor cleared by DOE for full-power operations testing, including 150+ continuous hours at full power without operator input.

DOE approved Radiant's Documented Safety Analysis for the Kaleidos microreactor, clearing the path to a readiness review before fueling at Idaho National Laboratory. The INL campaign is set to culminate in at least 150 hours of continuous full-power operation without operator intervention. Unattended full-power hours is the operations number to watch for microreactors.

HistorianSim (19 stars): describe a chemical process in plain English and get 90 days of simulated historian data with nine hidden faults for RCA practice.

HistorianSim is a Claude Code workflow: describe a chemical process in plain English and you get about 90 days of simulated plant historian time-series with injected faults, control loops that can mask them, and a private answer key. Nothing in the data comes from a real plant, so teams can practice RCA, test fault detection, and train agents without sharing live historian files. Different tool from Scott Duncan's troubleshooting-agent YouTube and PFD Claude skill already on the Feed.

For process, reliability and controls engineers: practicing RCA or training agents.
