One software team built the stack that quotes and cuts sheet metal in two weeks at Fabworks.

Jonathan Sessa of Fabworks lists what a one-person software team shipped for a real sheet-metal factory in two weeks: process digital twins, CAM for lasers and press brakes, nesting, a geometry kernel, in-browser DFM, shop-floor firmware, and an MCP server so agents can quote and order parts. These are a founder's own claims. The point is owning the software that quotes and cuts metal rather than renting another seat.
