It pairs the Neuron protocol collector with an MQTT bus and a gateway, and an agent only sees the devices and tools its API key allows. Devices must be imported on purpose, and unknown nodes are never enrolled on their own.
For automation and IT/OT teams: a pattern for giving agents read access to plant data through one gated door.
Nebius updated its open source Physical AI Workbench, built with NVIDIA, so Claude Code or Codex can set up, plan and run robot simulation, training and evaluation jobs and then walk through the results. It runs on Nebius's cloud, so it is a vendor tool with open code.
The three companies say the agents will start with control system monitoring, cybersecurity and energy optimization, running on site so plant data stays local. They point to three years of Schneider's control system monitoring at CMPC Chile as the base. Vendor-reported; no results for the agents yet.
An AI planner takes an operator's instructions in plain language, splits the job between the machine tool and the robot, and the robot handles setup, cleaning, part removal and inspection. It is a demo, shown at JIMTOF in Tokyo from Oct 26. Vendor-reported.
